We have the map pack done and it's up for sale. I'm trying to figure out how to work with all these online shopping carts, not as easy as it could be, but I think that I've got it.

PLEASE NOTE: THE MAP PACKS REQUIRE PATCH 1.3 TO SHOW UP!

PURCHASE HERE!

We've also recently made an agreement with Gamer's Gate to carry the game. This might be better for our Euro paying commanders.

Hi, I started the first scene- Longstreet and twenty minutes no union troops show up- one small question mark- where is the enemy in this battle please? just starting- thanks for reply

It's a mystery on the first scenario.. You've got to go and fine them.. The only clue is the OBJ marker showing the last known position of the enemy skirmish line..

rclark14,
If you really wnat to know what to do, play the second scenario first I don't want to give it away here in the forum. I, of corse did not do it that way. I did beat it but I see it would have been easier another way. I am now working to beat that second scenario

I want to ask anyone that bought through ShareIt and FastSpring. Did you receive the proper links to download the installer when you purchased?

Hello. I tried share-it first, since in one of your posts this was the only link to purchase Pipe Creek. I wanted to pay with my credit card. I received the mail that the order is being verified and I shall wait up to 24h hours. After 15h I received a mail that they couldnt charge my credit card .
Now I tried fastspring and it worked immediately! No problems with paying, downloading and registering.

Great. That's why we have two means of purchase. Just in case one of them doesn't work for you.

Ron Berg from the Rocky Mountain Civil War Roundtable has reviewed SOWGB and sent us his latest.  We really appreciate everyone that takes the time to review our game.  Thanks Ron!

I’ve always counted simulations (which somehow sounds more respectable than “game”) as valuable tools in understanding history. Like their brethren media — books, movies, reenactments, collecting, etc. — a high-quality simulation provides insights into an event and the challenges faced by the participants. Interactive by definition,
simulations bring a number of unique advantages over other methods. They are tools for self-teaching that can be used to explore a nearly unlimited spectrum of “what if” alternatives. And knowledge learned in this way is quickly internalized and often long-lasting.

During the month of June 1863, Gen. Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia was on the move to invade the north.  The Union army needed a strong defensive position to meet the threat and to defend Baltimore and Washingon.  The Pipe Creek line was the proposed defensive position chosen by Maj. Gen George Gordon Meade when he assumed command of The Army of The Potomac on June 28th, 1863. Read more about The Pipe Creek Line
