So we posted the game this weekend and have had an awesome response!  Thank you to everyone for all your support.  No, it wasn't perfect and we didn't expect it to be, but we have a ton of people playing and loving MP and that is just great for all of us to hear.

 Here's the link:

Scourge of War - Gettysburg

The Demo IS THE GAME!  You have nothing else to download.  All you have to do is to buy an activation code and type it in the demo and you have the full game.  We had a store all setup for this, but as most plans do, it went awry :)

So we set up a paypal account because there are so many people just dying to play the full game.  We're processing the orders ourselves.  You don't need a paypal account to purchase.  You just need one of the forms of payments that they accept and a valid email.  Otherwise how are we going to get you the activation code?

Purchase Scourge of War - Gettysburg

So download the game with the first link, buy the activation code with the second link.  Then type it in on the first screen you see and you'll be good to go.

Please be patient with us.  The response has been overwhelming.  Our forums are running very slow and we're playing catchup.  There's a lot of posts to go through.

Thank you!

Only two items remain between us and a Gold Master.  We had an MP test tonight using the demo and it all went very smoothly.  There were a couple of minor bugs, but at this point I am confident in the stability of this release and very loath to change anything.  I cannot count the number of times that an innocent change made at the end of a dev cycle had unintended results.

Here is the latest and final batch of screen shots.  Notice these show the full in game interface, as well as the courier and order of battle screen.  The screens without any action are the landscape shots requested by Amish John.

Please note:  We will not be spending any time explaining the details of the interface.  You will have it in your hands in a matter of weeks if we are left alone to finish the last remaining bits including the manual that explains everything.  :)

Enjoy!

I am receiving a lot of emails and PMs about the release date.  It's easier to just do a small update here.  We don't have an exact date.  We are on schedule and see no issues for us making this quarter.

March 1st is code freeze.  No changes to the source or the scenarios unless they are fixing major bugs.  We are sort of there now, but we are still working hard to get the proper scores in the scenarios.

After then I will build the installer and everyone will then be testing with the installer build.  We will be testing the store, the activation, etc.  At that point it's just a matter of getting everyone's thumbs up.  Larry, Eric, & Jim will be finishing up the manual.  The rest of the testers will be working hard to be the first ones on the Generals List :)

We are looking at a late March release.  The demo is the game.  So it will be out at the same time.  When you purchase you will receive an activation code to unlock the full game.  It will require 1 time internet activation.  It will not require a connection to play, just activate.

That's all the info I have.  When we have a better date we'll update everyone.
