Would it be possible to get a tutorial mission for playing HITS? And doing it all by the courier message screen. Possibly an enemy who wouldn't budge, so you could familiarise yourself with the options, carefully plan an assault. (Not realistic, I know).

Im really looking forward to the improved courier options in the new patch. Hoping for 'support xx unit', 'attack xx location from the NE', REALLY hoping for scouting reports back from cavalry, other units.

This is a good idea indeed. Maybe this could be made as a mod because there isn't room on the current tutorial screen to add it there (without a major redesign). The plate is completely full right now as we try to finish up the patch so if it doesn't make it in the patch, hopefully it can be released shortly after.

After the patch is out and I have more time, I'm thinking of starting up a sub-forum in Command & Staff School that will be sort of a "SOWGB 101" course. I know there are topics spread around the forum for specific scenarios etc., but I think it would be useful for new players to have a class like intro to the game.

I think that would be of great help.
