BloodBathIII plus Rebel Big Browns

This should conclude the BloodBath series with the inclusion of cavalry, time and feedback will tell. Pretty satisfied with the results, could go back and improve some of my early efforts, but I think the improvements would be negligible, and only noticed by me. So, this is my final best effort to date, and I think it represents it's name well.

The Rebel 'Big Browns' were an afterthought, but as I did a few, I was hooked into finishing. Yanks should be done also, but I'm leaving this for now...maybe down the line, hopefully learn some shortcuts. Because now, this browning process is frame by frame, almost died a redundantly mundane death seeing it through.

BTW, Big Brown was a tremendously successful racehorse a few years back, so I coined this with his famous name and winning spirit.

Really big file now with all the Reb Cavalry included, still, no degradation in performance, just altered sprites. As mentioned before, both High and Low resolution sprites are included. So, endure the long download, 30 Mb, but play and enjoy forever...

RebBugler - excellent work on these new horse sprites.

I can't really say that I'm interested in the blood mod , but I will steal the new horse sprites and integrate into my mod!

Yeah, this is a 7Zip compressed file, because it's huge. 7Zip is available for FREE online, add it to your arsenal.

Very nice! But with all those swords I want to see some dismemberment and a decapitation or two.

I have 7-zip,wouldn't want to be without it. It was just one of those freak things that make you think your computer is trying to be boss. Thanks for the help and the suggestion.A few decaps and body parts a day make you game,game away.And then there's "It takes guts to be a great Modder".

OK, following requests of more of the macabre...so, poor ol' USA Infantry 4 sprite gets decapitated from time to time...

This download is not in mod form. Once unzipped, the units must be copied directly into the Mods/BloodBathIII/Graphics/Units folder. Overwrite the previous files. FYI...The full version
BloodBathIII has been upgraded with these files.

Bloodbath is an understatement I’ve just had a fantastic battle using this mod for the first time and there was “Rivers of blood” I said to my wife "come over and take a look at this" and she said “That’s horrible” Great Mod RebBugler. Thanks !

yes, speaking of horrible- try taking enemy artillery pieces with infantry- I appreciate the realism- I believe in flank attacks with diversion towards the center to keep them off balance- nothing is more crushing than encirclement that is surrender time- that is what happened in 1865 to Lee

Yes, that was pivotal. Battle of Stalingrad was the bloodiest battle in the history of mankind. Highly motivated German army- 1942. Giant subject

I thought RB might appreciate this. From a book I'm reading.

Ahhh, good old Battery B! If I remember correctly, I believe they did something similar at the barricade near the Lutheran Theological Seminary on July 1st at Gettysburg as well.

Finally installed this MOD, it's a keeper. Outstanding, good job RB.

This is such a cool mod! I played sandbox and let my brigade get flanked like crazy just to see what it would look like with all the blood(it wasn't pretty)

Anyone want to see a bloodbath..just play Shogun2 and it's newish Blood mod. Limb and heads go flying and if you zoom in max the screen gets splashed lol. You should see Sword Cav hunting down Fleeing foes .
