Version 1.0 August 2017

Here's a major reworking of the terrain texturing for the Chancellorsville battle add-on for SOW Gettysburg.

It's been a pleasure to revisit this Battle! Take a look!

IMPORTANT:
You will need the Chancellorsville Extras mod by Reb Bugler for this mod to work. I'm not sure why, but it needs the flags from Reb's mod, or it will crash (I'm sure you all have it anyway) !

It is beautiful. I did a fly over and it felt like I was flying over real terrain. Thank you. Take a few hours off and then do some more. No just kidding take a day and then get back at it. Can't wait gotta have more.

I agree its spectacular. Given the improvements in graphics we saw in Waterloo, I think this is easily equal to that and shows what's possible even with such an old game engine.

David, had you any plans to treat the Fredericksburg/Salem's Church map this way? Seeing a new treatment for Fredricksburg town and Marye's Heights would be fantastic.

The other 3 Chancellorville maps coming soon to complete the set (2 done).

I guess it will have to be a new, bigger version. Sorry about that but not much point in splitting it.

I like the random rough grass texture you've used in the last 2 pics - esp foreground of the 2nd one. Is this a new texture or an old one reworked?

I've created a lot of new textures for these maps, trying my best to get a good balance between them all, and in higher res. Also lot's of new treework/foliage etc and skies.
I've also tweaked the ini files to compliment all this.

It will all be included in the new version.
