Lol, with the pic that you have provided you have given us more questions than answeres. You haven't given us a lot of info. Give us Catherine's Furnace or Pigeon Cove or something else to go on.

Pic looks good though. Someone better than me will have to guess which battlefield this farm sits on.

Is the expansion going to include a battle with scenarios and historical maps? Or just upgrades?

I see that 2ndTexas has been quite busy with the new terrain graphics; also it's good to see more wooden structures.

I’ll also take the time to mention that Norb has put together quite a team of dedicated modders to help in moving the game forward!

Excellent Job to All involved!

Will when we get the patch? Before or after the extension or both at the same time?

Re: The next Expansion 11 months, 3 weeks ago #7

Fantastic groundcover...you should think about applying it to Antietam.

The flowers look like poppies, so I would suggest a late spring/early summer battle.

That puts us a little late for the Chancellorsville or the Wilderness, but just in time for the Peninsular...

Nice map. What shall I blow up first, decisions.

Re: The next Expansion 11 months, 3 weeks ago #10

This is a full battle pack expansion, maps, scenarios, etc.

The 1.5 patch will come before the expansion. Still some loose ends to tie up with the patch, but it will be out soon.

I know its a very slight possibility, but I've always hoped for an expansion focusing on the North's campaign from Chattanooga to Atlanta. But I'm biased as I grew up and still live on the Kennesaw Mountain battlefield. Lots of good battles involved, with varied terrain, and the South historically fought a successful delaying action until the Union's sheer size was able to get around them and on to Atlanta.

I'll go back to dreaming now.

For no particular reason, it just reminds me of Chickamauga.

All right. I'll give you a hint...

It's a Civil War battle.

Not necessarily, it did have roots in the Civil War...

It’s sort of hard to tell from just two wooden structures, and what appears to be a crossroad that is slightly hidden by the elevated terrain.

I hope it is Chickamuanga. For anyone that is not familiar with it, it is a great battle. A rare one where the rebs outnumbered the Yanks. Three days of battle. With two of those days heavily engaged. A battlefield that is 80% +/- trees. A Union brigade with repeater rifles.

Lots of room for making variants, but not needed as it was described as a battle fought between just groups of soldiers. A true battle between the wills of the individual soldiers.

It is enormous for its results. The South won, but was terribly bloodied. Union survived by a hair to fight another day. The stage was being set for the final year of the war.

If it is Chickamuanga it must have been one of the most frustrating and rewarding battles to test. Maybe, this would be the same for Shilo.

I think it is Chancellorsville, along the Plank Road specifically... just a guess :oþ

Chickamauga would be fantastic, though!

Why overlook the two Bull Run battles simply because they were already covered in TC2M ? Nice to read a detective story again and pick up all the clues you missed first time round.

I would love to see the Stone Bridge and the Unfinished Railroad Cutting in all their "Gettysburg" finery.
