I have SOWGB on my hard-drive in the default folder - NorbsolfDev. There is a large folder - MWASPI - that contains a lot of the same files. Can I delete these files?

I'm not sure what a MWASPI is.. I'm not going to tell you to delete files and then you lose something important, but what I can tell you is that we don't have any files or folders in the game called MWASPI.

I'm thinking a virus or malware. I do suggest that you get your hands on a couple of programs. One for Anti-Spyware, and one for Maleware.

Note: Stay away from websites that will scan your system for you directly. I have run into problems with these sites in the past.

It's rather odd since a large amount of problems concerning MWASPI is actually referring too in some cases MWASPI = Microstaff, and posts are from years ago between 2004, and 2009.

You are using Windows XP right? To tell you the truth I have never come across this problem before.

I hope you find a solution.

Thanks for both of your replies. I think I'll delete 'em.
