I'm working on the Championship OOB. I should have it ready for download later this evening (gotta give it a quick test of course)

It'll be division size, 3 infantry brigades each, 2 batteries (naps and ordinance) each, AND a small Cavalry Brigade each, 5,000 troops total. Should make for an interesting Championship Battle.

So I didn't get a chance to test the OOB last night. Anyone available to fire it up for a quick test?

If the time is agreed upon in advance, do announce it, please, as I should like to observe.

I assume both players are playing tonight at 9PM ET?

Good luck generals. Should be a great game.

BTW - I tested the OOB and it works like a charm. The cav brigades should mix things up a bit.

I'll be there. There will be ten open observer spots, I haven't decided how much to charge per seat.

With 10 minutes left and the score effectively tied we had a Internet
crash and will re-do tonight.

We've effectively kept them from playing due to Garnier's mod, so maybe we'll actually let them loose to play soon.

Early height advantage,a couple of long distance gun kills (guns lost) and retreat to the hills, game over win to Baldwin.
200(approx)points. Not nearly as fun as 1st game Alpine might not have been the best choice for 1v1.

Good game

Re: *** Tournament 1 - Championship Game Information *** 6 years, 11 months ago #16

Congrats Baldwin!

Sounds like it was a good game.. I'll make note of that Alpine not being the best for 1v1.

So I'd say the 1st tournament was a success. Just need a couple more teams for Tournament 2 and we'll get that one rolling.

Since Baldwin won, he is his own team for Tournament 2

The battles need objectives or most games will end up like this one: get a lead and then run away.

I didn't run away, I just repositioned my flank on the high ground. I would have gladly continued the fight from there, Ellis chose not to chance an uphill battle. I don't blame him.

Didn't mean anything derogatory, Baldwin, just that there needs to be incentive to fight over a specific piece of ground.

Otherwise, you have just that: one side gets a lead and pulls back to high ground.

Nonsense! I came right on and punched you in the mouth Spoom got some as well
