Waterloo as Napoleon, I'm hitting Wellingtons right very hard, right now all units are "stuck in" except the guard as reserves.

The problem is the allies are concentrated, but I'm slowly pushing Wellington of his hill!

So now it's up to the ai, I only move a few units here and there, all forces are moved up.

My center is almost empty, only a division of Cuirassiers and 40 guns are there, but it keeps the Highlanders and Picton in square, so no dangure of them hitting back, Wellington is paralised He has no troops to move, many of his units are in square beeing hammerd by arty and infantry.

It's now a question will his troops stand or run, I have no more to give, my guards have to prepare for the prussians. I have lost 16000 vs his 11 000. But hopefully my moral is higher. Thats all I can hope for.

I kinda want to send in the old guard up the center, to see if I can collaps his army. But I think I need the enitre guard to stop the prussians.

Nice screenies - keep them coming. My resolution is 1024 x768 so default - imagine what it would lool like at high res with wide screen. New monitor required!

Here are some more from me.

Wellington under the famous tree

Just showing off the farmhouse - my brother and I made the Airfix model of this as kids. Then we visited the battlefield and to see the iconic farm was amazing for us. I'm very happy with the way this model turned out - beautifully textured by Jolly and placed in the game by Little Powell who also made the barrels, boxes and items of interest in the yard

Here are some from a corps vs corps sandbox battle using a map that I am currently modifying.Unable to change topography and buildings right now.Can only change around the vegetation and road network.

The jump map....not really happy with it but it functions.

Excellent portrayal of this epic attack by stills. Too bad there's not a feature or option to represent surrender flags by Side, then with Sgt Ewart captures the Eagle a large Eagle could top the French surrender flag.

Its been a while since I posted - just got a new set up so showing off really. I have a wide screen curved Samsung adn the game just looks amazing on it

I also played around with a little program called tiltshift to make them look 3d.

I've used Tiltshift before. I have also seen it used on the web in a few places. It makes real photos or game screens look like toy soldiers or models. Its a neat effect.

I really like the effect - I almost wish you could get the same effect in game but I suspect it would mess with my (already bad) eyesight!

Also, how did you get your cav to the French gun line. It's like herding cats to get any cav past the sunken road. I've tried several times...

I set the sprite ratio on options to 1. Its best to play the game with default ratio of 6 but for some screenshots and so games I bump it up.

As for getting the cavalry down to the gun line - I TC them and set them on all out attack. It can be hard to control them (as happened in the real battle) but its possible. the rest of the team will tell you I'm not an expert player either so if I can do it then its not too hard

Do you TC all the way down to squadron level? That's the only thing I haven't tried.

no - just the commander. It does take a bit of managing but I've done it a few times. I think the new patch will help that's should be out soon.

I've TC'd the commanders and set them to all out attack and their squadrons don't follow. THey mill around the sunken road randomly facing in all directions. Meanwhile the commanders ride on alone to their destinations where they become cut off so their couriers can't get new orders to their troops. It's really a mess.

TC'ing the commander negates his stance.

TC the commander and give a move order and a formation order. When you get them in place, un-TC the commander and give him the all-out-attack stance.

Thanks. Tried that but squadrons still won't cooperate. If this were a real army, I'd cashier the lot their officers. What happened to even vaguely following orders?

I do hope this is addressed in the coming patch. Sorry for highjacking a screenshot thread.
