Re: Expanded Toolbar - Grog

I would like to add my congratulations for the tool bar. I use it on 1366 by 768 and the movable section is quite compressed at that but I guess I will just have to learn what each entry represents.

A small point I have noted, which I suppose might be obviously not possible, but I find the game crashed if try to send a detachment into a building. It could be annoying if I do it by mistake when moving nearer a building.

Regards

Mike
Thanks for the report!

Is that the High Rez version that makes it compressed?
Not a clue about the 'moving into building' crash. I assume you're talking about specified Forts.

Hi Reb
Yes the High Rez version I assumed that is what I would need - do you think the standard would be better?

Yes it was a fort - I presume that you cannot enter a fort in detached mode but it is a pity it crashes the game rather than just not doing it. I have only tried it with the detached entity - I might try it with the original owning unit.

It would be a plus for the record to know whether that resolution works better with the standard toolbar.

By detached are you referring to split-off troops for skirmishing, 50, 100, etc., at a time? If so, I've been doing this a lot lately with a scenario I'm building, and no issues on my end. Also, I've found no issues with detached units entering forts.

Since you're posting this here, I assume that the crashes only happen when you use this toolbar, not the stock game. Is this correct?

Thanks again for helping out here, crashes of any sort are unacceptable.

Hi Reb

1366 by 768 works better with the standard Grog toolbar rather than the high Rez one.

I have not tried detached units in forts other than with the High Rez toolbar

Hi Reb

I have tried it without your toolbar and the crash still occurs when I send in a detached element. It is the tutorial scenario so that might be a special case.

Yes - there is a bug on the tutorial for sending detached units into forts. It is limited to the tutorial though.

Have there been issues with 3.2 causing crashes? I love the Grog toolbar, but, when I play the stock scenarios that come with the game, I have crashes.

WL06 just ran well with this Toolbar. WL05 crashes. The seems to be with WL05, rather than with Reb's Toolbar.
