Re: AI not responding to movement orders sent by courier

Yeah, just a shame it can't be done with Corps. Was that ever possible or am I misremembering? Could've sworn I played as grant once with the Shiloh OOB without an issue.

Re: AI not responding to movement orders sent by courier

<t>I seem to recall it working with corps when I played as Grant and it being a lot of fun. Also this particular incident was with division commanders (I was playing as Hancock's corps)<br/> <br/> Edit: The opening post was mistaken, this was playing as a corps commander and the courier orders were ...

AI not responding to movement orders sent by courier

<t>When I play army/corps battles, I like to use courier based orders only (no movement by mouse except for the commander sprite). After downloading patch 1.301, I've found that ordering a corps commander to move to a specific map location (or landmark) results in only the commander moving, the unit...

Sorry to doublepost, but if you wanted a real bug for some reason buildings don't load anymore with the new patch. This could be something dumb I'm doing, but I couldn't find any graphic options.

Edit: Also, use roads command doesn't work when issued by courier

Re:Bug found?

<t>It seems like a kind of odd way to set it up. If I wanted a balanced battle, I could pretty easily edit the order of battle (and if I could do that, you know it's not too tough). If I wanted to fight with a corps, I would select corps v corps. Sometimes I want to defend against overwhelming odds ...

Re:Bug found?

This may not technically be a bug, but attack and defense sandbox battles still won't load full armies (if you chose army, it will load the army commander and one corps chosen at random.

Excellent work on the new patch

<t>I just fired up Scourge of War after a long break (working a lot of hours). Coming back to it with the new patches, it feels like it got back something it was lacking. Maybe the personality of the first two games? All the frustration of slow commanders, the tough enemy AI, and the incredible brav...
