Assuming you're logged in...
Click on the little down arrow next to your username and choose "User Control Panel".
From there click on the "Profile" tab and then "Edit account settings".

I agree with you that pretty much as soon as I got SOW, I ended up installing it (and watching your YT vids of course).
However, I ended up only using the KS Mod and an amended version of their toolbar.

I had a search through all the scenarios. The tactics command only appears (as far as I can tell) in the Ligny DLC and nowhere else.

It turns out there was an extra comma on the end of the header row which made the editor think it was an "old" battlescript file
