Re: Suggestions for next game version
<t>Take all of the below with a grain of salt, at best they inspire a thought that becomes a reality some day. <br/> <br/> 1. Instead of having a small arrow as marker for where a regiment is, put a blue or red line reflecting the size of the regiment. Currently, it is impossible to select a command...

Re: To all those that notice a speed improvement with CV
The new terrain really does look fantastic.
Is there anyway to mod/update the older battles with the new terrain?
Or is it updated already? I never checked!

Re: Chancellorsville
I could be mistaken, but this is limited to putting a rectangle there instead of a circle. It wouldn't show the facing of the regiment, formation, etc.
Again, a small nitpick on an otherwise very enjoyable game.

<t>Just played my first scenario on the Chancellorsville expansion!!! <br/> <br/> So happy to see this franchise continuing to evolve.<br/> <br/> First reactions:<br/> <br/> - Terrain graphics are much improved, looks great<br/> - Scenario design seemed well done. Re: GBB20 Let the Batteries Open
I played this scenario recently as well. I really enjoyed it... but it highlights how difficult it is to give effective orders with the current UI design, which i think is one of the biggest opportunities for improvement in the game.

Re: Analysis of Variance of Firing Angles and Hit Percentages on the Battlefield
<t>I know nothing about physics that I didn't learn in highschool, but it seems to me you are solving two different problems, which is why you can't agree.<br/> <br/> One is trying to determine that whatever angle hits the target, be it 30 degrees or 300, what range of angles up or down from that wo...

Re: Analysis of Variance of Firing Angles and Hit Percentages on the Battlefield
<t>Very interesting post. I am always trying to reconcile how a thousand men lined up with rifles don't obliterate each other in short order. I think it also helps explain why you often hear of an entire volley passing overhead. You would think there is some unconscious group think going on regardin...

Re:MP Courtesy
<t>This kind of thing will happen in any online game as long as playing online entails a degree of anonymity. I would like to say it usually is a sign of immaturity, and young age, but frankly in my experience it's more a sign of human nature. It's just easier to be rude and vulgar when you're talki...

Re:Cemetery Hill/Culps Hill Scenario Series
great addition, thanks for the work on these
i was wondering why more of the culps hills action was left out of the game. i think the non-attack on cupls hill july 1 is one of the bigger what ifs of gettysburg.
