Re: Scourge of War Update

I had recently played through SoW Gettysburg and Chancellorsville because I still enjoy them even though they have started to look a bit long in the tooth. I'm ecstatic to hear about the remastering effort, I'll be looking forward to playing them again with new visuals!

Re: Bugles and Flags XII

Thanks Reb, third time was the charm. No idea why the file size was off first two attempts, but the third got a complete file and it's installed now.

Re: Bugles and Flags XII

File size is off, only 5.1MB. I downloaded it, deleted it, downloaded again, same deal. Could the DL be corrupted on the server? Also going to try yet one more time.

Re: Bugles and Flags XII

Reb, trying to install XII on a new machine, keep getting cannot open this file as an archive in 7z file manager. No issues with opening other 7z files. Any ideas?

Re: Bugles and Flags v09

Forgot to say I'm glad I grabbed this mod again, when I played SoW last year I had it and it's a huge improvement over the out of the box game. I can imagine how much work it was, so thanks :)

Re: Bugles and Flags v09

<t>Ok, understand. IMO having a single button do two things and you can only tell which by looking at the hover is confusing, I'd really recommend breaking them into full buttons despite the additional interface elements. And in general we all have a ton more screen real estate than this interface u...

Re: Bugles and Flags v09

<t>RB, there seems to be a bug with 0.9, least I think it is: both the infantry column and line formation buttons are actually two buttons each. The left half of column is indeed column, but the right half is inf_square, and the left half of line is line, but the right is line hold formation. <br/> ...

Re: QUITE A FINE MESS I'VE GOTTEN MYSELF INTO

If you had virus problems so serious that key files across the board were lost in the cleaning, I'd seriously consider backing up your data, formatting the HDs, and starting from scratch. You're going to have nothing but headaches moving forward trying to make everything work again.

Re: Playing Antietam for first time, half the troops on both sides aren't shooting

LP, I picked up the last save I had of None But Heroes and have proceeded 45min or so past the point where it crashed before, so whatever caused that (although reproducible with that one save) is not a consistent issue, so I don't think you need to sweat it.

<r><QUOTE><s>
</s><QUOTE><s>
</s>so possibly something in the map pack is changing the scenarios. <e>
</e></QUOTE> Yeah, that kind of thing doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. If his save crashes for me, I'll get a report in for Norb so he can run it in the debugger. Thanks.<e>[...
