Re: Great Campaigns of the Civil War - Update: Atlanta OOB Pack released!!
<t>Zeke, I recently installed your Atlanta mod and am having some challenges. I get a whole series of "texture files not found" and "could not load sprite" errors. I get the exact same error with the Nasvhille/Franklin mod. I have Bulges and Flags XV on. I've not been able to get either to work. I k...

Re: Suggestion for MP Co-op
<r><QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>What you are asking is to allow AlphaOmega control, don't think this will fly, too many ways for it to be abused if MP play is to remain competitive and fair. Surely battlescript scripting can be worked out eventually, I'll continue to push this path. Your AI magnet regiments...

Suggestion for MP Co-op
<t>Our group likes to play corps level scenarios either randomly set up or tactical scenarios run by one person. Many times, even with objectives and aggression changes, the AI often does not play well with others. AI Defenses are really hard to execute in a co-op as are coordinated attacks.<br/> I ...

Re: Login and multiplayer play
<t>okay, checked with both guys. One machine ran 3-4FPS then when paused, only went to 11. The other ran 7 FPS went to 11. Tried with mods on and off, same results. FPS on both machines does increase slightly when looking at simple graphics like ground or just trees. When they pan over troops or tro...

Re: Login and multiplayer play
I have not tried pausing the game to see if FPS goes back up on those machines, but will find out. I tried it on my machine with the saved copy of the game we played last night and I went from 45-168. Least it will narrow down what we are looking for.

Re: Login and multiplayer play
<t>I know exactly what two machines are causing the problem. Yes, both machines in question were tested in single player, MP, mods, graphics, OOBs, stock scenarios, etc, trees on and off. I know exactly what the FPS is under each circumstance. What I do not understand is why prior to 1.5 both those ...

Re: Login and multiplayer play
<t>Well, after doing everything that was suggested and thought of we tried to play Thursday evening and multiplayer was unplayable. OOB was below 40,000, but it makes no difference if it is 10000 or 100000, couple machines still stubbornly stay below 5FPS. It was not like this with 1.3 or 1.4. Same ...

Re: Demo Before Buying: Take Command Issues
<t>I've never had an issue with TC'd artillery batteries taking off in the full game and I've used the entire AOP artillery reserve in battles. I have had units that were not TC'd do incredible bizarre and non-historical, non-doctrinal, messed up, out of any sane military persons mind type of action...
