Great game, it made me want to write a review!

<r>Hey folks. After a long whiles away from gaming I got back into Scourge of War: Gettysburg. I'd played it a little after picking it up but real life stuff held me off from properly enjoying it. Anyway, I've now properly sunk my teeth into it and I love it so much that I was compelled to shout out...

Re: Scenario #1 - The Boys Got Their Dander Up

<t>Hey guys, just had my second attempt at this one. I didn't get to play this game for a long whiles due to having to spend too much time in the 21st rather than the 19th century, but now I'm in the saddle. <br/> <br/> I failed miserably the first time. I also hadn't realised I needed a man on the ...

Re: It goes so slow.

Maybe Norbsoft's AI has reached the point where it understands the futility of war, and refuses to attack, instead decamping to read poetry. That's probably why Total War never developed theirs further.

Re: The Last Tutorial Battle. Crikey and Questions from a newbie!

<t>I fear that I did not use Historical mode sir, I was TC'ing, but figured on trying by courier as well to see how tricky it was. Your vantage point is sound, though, as is the 'getting to know your units'. Do you play with the same ones mostly throughout the campaign, then? <br/> <br/> I'll stick ...

The Last Tutorial Battle. Crikey and Questions from a newbie!

<r>Whelp, I bought the thing. I've just completed the tutorials. My God, but the last one is probably the biggest battle I've ever fought, and this is from a Total War veteran. I really didn't believe that a game could so accurately simulate fog of war and the disintergrating nature of battle withou...

Re: The Battle of Bath Manor Hill (Also Newbie Hello!)

<r>Thanks chaps!<br/> <br/> I've just played the first tutorial level on movement. Was a bit baffled at how to get everyone moving at once but soon figured it out. Looking forward to my first multiplayer battle, maybe someone will be up for a wee one on Sunday? <E>:)</E><br/> <br/> As for the reenac...

The Battle of Bath Manor Hill (Also Newbie Hello!)

<r>Hullo there! My first post here. I've played the demo of Scourge of War and very much enjoyed it, so will be buying it on the weekend. The inspiration to buy it came from my excitement seeing a reenactment in Bath, England, by some English US Civil War reenactors coupled with a rapidly developing...
