Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<t>I just wanted to let people know that I haven't had any other issues with any other tutorial in the demo. Although not exactly perfect (and I can make allowances for it not being so on purpose), the friendly AI during the Division tutorial acted very logical and effective in making moves that mad...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
I checked and I have the 1.4 version of the demo installed. Is this not the latest version?

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
A suggestion: Install the latest version.
I downloaded the demo from the Web site a few days ago (around the time of my first post in this thread). Is there a new version to download or can I update with the demo installed

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<t>Sadly, again some things came up last night that required my attention and I was not able to even play the game at all. But, barring some new crisis, I should be home and able to play the game tonight.<br/> <br/> Hancock, it's interesting that you say the AI is not so good when it's scripted sinc...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<t>Like I said above, my schedule is pretty busy and I am often not free nights or weekends to play games, especially for very long times. I much prefer games where I can save, quit and resume the game according to my convenience.<br/> <br/> If I do decide to get the game, however, I will certainly ...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<r>First off, I was unable to complete a game last night after taking care of some other, more important things. I've gotten past the opening battle across the stream but have yet to move up the road to join Hall and Meredith. I should have screenshots tonight.<br/> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Congratulati...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<t>With all due respect, your rationalizations contradict themselves. In the first instance, Meredith retreated to "better ground" to avoid suicide and then in the second instance you say he got "cold feet" and was a political appointee.<br/> <br/> I don't really buy either explanation. The ground a...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<r>I really don't see how a single brigade -- with several regiments exhausted from having to double quick in column along a road -- can withstand a frontal assault combined with a flanking assault on its own. I suppose it's certainly possible, but the point is that it shouldn't have to be that way ...

Re: Brigade Combat Tutorial
<t>I don't know if I've been clear...<br/> <br/> When Meredith moved away from the oncoming Confed assault, the Confederates were not miles away or even several hundred yards away. The attack was imminent and you did not even need to be sitting in a saddle to see the frontal assault of at least an e...
