Re: Expanded Toolbar - Grog

<r><QUOTE><s>
</s>I've just now discovered this post as well as your other post about how most of the British artillery battery commanders refused the order to temporarily abandon the guns and hide in a square when enemy Cav approached. Thanks very much for your insight.<e>
</e></QUOTE>...

Re: Cavalry fault found?

<t>Hi,<br/> <br/> I've literally just stumbled across this thread whilst checking up on some others that I am interested in, and wondered if it explains some of the strange behaviour I'm getting with the Dutch cavalry in the opening stages of Quatre Bras. They seem able to wipe the floor with Pire's...

Deciphering the AI system

<r>This is an extension of a debate which has been raging for some time on the Steam Forum, without really making a lot of progress. What I'm hoping to do is add a bit more understanding of how the AI system in SOWWL works to the .pdf and video already produced by Mitra. (see Links below)<br/> <VIDE...

Re: Expanded Toolbar - Grog

<r>Unlike the British and French it appears that the Prussians did have designated formations for larger bodies of troops. David Nash includes the brigade formations in his book on the Prussian Army 1808-1815, which includes the brigade formation for an attack.<br/> <br/> The pre-1813 formation for ...

<r><QUOTE><s>
</s>It is also in line with history as Wellington had his artillery located in with his squares.<e>
</e></QUOTE> I would suggest you avoid using Waterloo as a reference for this sort of historical assumption.
