Absolutely excellent. While the rifle has greater potential range, very few solders had the training to use it. Apparently the ability to accurately measure range was a huge issue and was a major training focus for sniper/scimisher training.

Not being able to issue orders during Pause would normally be a "buy killer". The player is not just a commander, but rather the entire command group. Realistically, even in a game, time needs to be expanded to cover the several functions being performed by several individuals.

Just discovered this game and it certainly has this own unique flavor. The idea of seeing what a Napoleonic army looked like deployed in the various formations is very interesting. Napoleon TW is fun, but the formations, at least, are lacking
