And they don't cheat to do it. The AI only knows what it can "see" in a given situation. The fog of war applies to the AI just like it does to the players. That is very unusual in a tactical level war game.

<r>I knew Norb was going to say that. This is a feature of the game that goes back to Bull Run. This AI doesn't cheat like in some other games. This fact explains a couple of things... why the ai sometimes does some incredibily dumb things, and why it feels more like playing a human than other game ...

perhaps what he wants to know is why only a corp if he is lee shouldn't he get 3 corp?

And that lack of knowledge played a key part in the battle. If at no other time on the march, countermarch and march of Longstreet's force. A great what if scenario idea: Longstreet has the map above and is able to march directly into position and begin his attack four hours sooner B)

The other thing that I think needs to be changed on the historical setting would be a marker on the map when you get the move to or attack at this position on the map. Then when you look at the map it is still blank. :unsure:
