MTG-Thanks very much----all works well with this.The only setback is that the mimimaps are no longer the larger size. Is there any other element in your mod I could add to my reduced version in order to enlarge the size to that of the original mod

Could anyone explain where exactly in the programme this 1000 troop setting needs to be set up so as to apply to sandbox battles when required .
