Re: Culloden
<t>That doesn't look a whole lot better. The log file still says you are running both the Culloden and Fontenoy mods but I did say before that since I don't have the Culloden mod, it may be that it *needs* the Fontenoy mod as a base (it might use the British sprites, guns and generals from Fontenoy ...

Re: Culloden
<t>I don't have the mod but that looks a real mess. I see your game is loading <Culloden_Mod> as well as <Fontenoy_Mod_II>. Do you intend to load both?<br/> <br/> Have you got an extra folder in either mod? So it reads Norbsoft\...\Culloden_Mod\Culloden_Mod\...<br/> <br/> or<br/> <br/> Norbsoft\...\...

Re: Chancellorsville Terrain Mod by David(jolly)
Very nice. With the light green grass in the mid-ground and that pale dirt field in the background it looks just like a sunlit rise. Very neat effect.

It might be a Microsoft .net framework problem. Check to download the most up-to-date version.

I like the random rough grass texture you've used in the last 2 pics - esp foreground of the 2nd one. Is this a new texture or an old one reworked?

Re: Chickamauga
<r><QUOTE><s>
</s>you can route several regiments in the process.<e>
</e></QUOTE> Is that even remotely realistic? Do battle accounts say the Spencer was this effective? If the Spencer was the equivalent of an 1860s AK47 I am sure there would be a lot of testimony about it. But as far a...

<t>You need to bear in mind that a higher ROF does not mean a soldier will always shoot at that ROF. He'll burn through his ammo in a few minutes if he does and that is not good for any unit.<br/> <br/> In action there will always be a reserve kept, there will always be some troops not shooting or n...

Re: Rye Field Experimenting
<t>DaVinci - the second picture looks excellent. Nice work. I always disliked the crop sprites with the vertical sides, I think all vegetation sprites look better with sloped or alpha faded sides. Colour looks good. Rye was possibly taller than wheat, at least I know it was (and is) in Europe becaus...
