MyGUI is not going anywhere. It was our solution to localization and it worked very well. It also added a lot of new controls that we really liked. Especially the tree OOB control. It was a lot of work putting it in, but in the end it saved us a lot of time when we added the new features.

The AI using a set of formations specified in unitglobal, you can see them at the end. It's very flexible and more will be shown once the doc is out. The other formations can be modded into the gui if you want.

We had a map making team because we were not sure about releasing the powerrender tools. At this point though we are just going to release them, as I think it's old enough to not cause any concern. So there really won't be a map making team as anyone will be able to download the map tools.
