Nice- what make are they?

I was talking about the troop sprites so may have got at cross purposes...

You can change the size of the sprites in the unit model or unit global cab files. It's the same file in SOWWL as SOWWGB.

I tend to play as Allies - I do have a bad tendency to do this for all games I play but being English then I was brought up on movies and comics that always had the Brits as the good guys and I heard all my relatives stories of the war. I must get out of this habit

They are set up slightly differently. No laying down sprite to start and the number of frames of animation will be different but they should work. You'll have to use stand for lay down.
