Re: Secessionville Version 2.0 - Released

<r>This map is an old favorite of mine. It was my very first map, and also it's special because I used to live in the area. In fact I'm vacationing in Charleston next month and going to give my family a tour of the Fort location. It's one of those hidden gem battlefields that most visitors don't kno...

Re: Are there Any Mods maps Still being Made for SOW Getty?

How could I fail to mention Crikey? His maps are always beautiful and historically accurate. I was inspired by his terrain texture methods while making my maps. Looking forward to the next release!

Re: Are there Any Mods maps Still being Made for SOW Getty?

Haven't seen any posted in a while. Mark T was active for a while building excellent maps, but hasn't been around much lately. If you search the mods section you should be able to find several of his.

Re: Any chance for a future SOW: Austerlitz using this game engine?

There are no plans to further expand on the SOW game engine. Although its been tweaked, updated, and given a complete overhaul with Waterloo, the base engine is over 10 years old. Any potential new games will use a new engine.

Re: Resolution Issues

This is where it should be located:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Take Command - 2nd Manassas\

This is from my Win 7 box, but it should be similar for other versions.

Re: Map Making - Fences

One of the nifty tricks Eric (LouiRaider) showed me when he was teaching me map making. It's a wrist saving technique for sure.

Eric, may he rest in peace.. I'm really tired of losing friends and family to the big C..
