Sounds interesting, I know that the team has tried teamspeak or something like that in the past. I doubt that I will put it natively in the game anytime soon. It goes against my philosophy that the only communication should be by courier, realistically I know people are going to talk, but I want the game to stay true to form.

courier is awesome. I only suggested the ventrilo for clans to make plans and get to know each other in a faster form of communication other than typing. Mine is still open to anyone who wants to try it, just pm me for the info after you download the free program.
we use it to play call of duty 4 as a clan but I will make room for you. makes it a bit easier to tell someone that there is a bad guy in the alley next to a trash can without all the delay of typing.

also teamspeak is good but not near the quality of ventrilo, its like talking on the phone vs talking through a string and cup.

I will 2nd that, Vent is 10x clearer than teamspeak. I use vent with some friends and we dont' have any problems and it works perfectly.

they both work perfectly but i think the best would be to integrate a vop system inside the game, like BF2, ArmA and all other games.

As soon as I see the photo of Lee holding his walktie talkie I'll get VOP in the game :)

It must be authentic!
