Norb

Were you able to tackle the breastworks/first aid capabilities?

I am pretty sure Norb said that the Square formation did make it in.

You mean you can't/won't do weather changes, for example, if in an hour scenario, and the weather changes from cloudy to sunny, you can't/won't have the sky change?
It just didn't make it on the list. It could be done, I can switch the sky in the code, it's just one thing that is not going to make it for the first release.

I believe that the ability is in there for the game, not sure how detailed it will be on this first release. Our original plan was to work towards Waterloo, but those plans changed, so although we put some of those features in the engine, they weren't finished. But I'm pretty sure that the mod ability is still in there.

In a sense we have something, but it's not nearly where we want to go. So I would say no to breast works, but there is something for first aid. Whether or not it's what you are thinking will remain to be seen. Breastworks is something that we all want to do, but just didn't make the cut.

1st Aid, that's where Badger needs to go.

Premium hospitals at your expense.

Oh, goody, we get some hospital wagons and some bloody chopped off arms and legs do we?

I am very interested to see how this first aid thing works out!! Could we be getting men back in "carry-over" scenerio's.(If they have carry-over) I am very intrigued now:huh: B)

I believe that the formula that I created for carryover takes these things into account.
