Dial-up game

Post by Jack ONeill »

All,

Just fought an excellent co-op game with Mikesla. Living proof small, dial-up games can work. Had our asses handed to us but we held the field at the end. Fought against Sedgwicks 1st. Division under Wright. Those guys really were Damn Yankees. Kinda sucked our arty all ran away. Oh well. LOL!

Note to Mike - gotta start practicing with a division. Division command is really where its at, I think. Maybe Sam Crawfords in 5th. Corps or Al Howes in 6th. Corps. Couple brigades, couple batteries in each.

Sic Semper Tyrannis!!

Hi Jack, haven't seen you in awhile :)

The game started slow, then it picked up nicely.

Your right, I'll start practicing div level of play. With just a brigade I was too small to be of much help.

It was a cool game, and yes your right Jack, we did have our asses handed to us. Great fun though all the same.

Hope to see you sometime soon for another battle.

Cheers, and thanks again, it was allot of fun.

Roger that A.

Mike has the Dial-up. I have a really old, cobb-job comp. It will run a decent 4-5, maybe 6 player game. We're taking up a collection to get Mike cable out in whatever god-forsaken place he lives in.

Hi there Jack!

Yes, I live in the land of beer, pretzels, and fish, all the things a growing boy needs. :)

Once I get my callback to work, I'll have highspeed. Oh tried having a div game, and man I suck just as bad playing at brigade level, I'm sitting there trying to figure out what to do with the other bits. :)

See you on the battlefield Jack.

Cheers...
