All Those Battles and Maps For Tc2m?

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

All Those Battles and Maps For Tc2m?

Post by Cleaburn »

Wow look at all the maps Crikey Has made and many others for tc2m, would it not behove the Sow team to allow these Guys loose, to begin making and converting all this work to the newer game. Just curious if they would with the proper tools.

Cleaburn- Glad you're enjoying the TCM2 mods. Thanks.

I'm mainly building on the good work of others - such as tomcattwo, louie raider, davinci and 122nd ohio - who came before me. Norb has also kindly let me use some of the SoW graphics. That's very generous of him.B)

On SoW maps, Norb and the SoW team have commented in the past on why they are delaying opening up map making. I fully understand the business reasons for that approach. I want SoW and its official sequels to succeed as there is nothing quite like it out there. Perhaps in a few years the tools might be available but for now I'm just excited to see what other battles they'll make for us.;)

I have always opened everything up when I'm done. But that's sort of funny because I've only had the one game before this one to do it to. So I have a 100% track record of opening everything up when we are done with our expansions.

Yeah, crikey is one great modder. His work is always top notch.

Just imagine what he'll do once Norb releases the OK to create maps.

Later!
