Now, this might not work out as well for some, but I have been having a great time playing around with this, the past weekend.
I was trying to think of a way of preventing the enemy supply wagon from following the divisional commander to the front of the lines. So, I had an idea of removing the enemy divisional commander from the OOB – and hoping that the game would not crash!
Well, it works, but it didn’t work!
The game will not crash, and the wagons still venture out in front of the lines, but something else happened that makes this interesting.
The enemy will send his entire army at you once he see’s your location, and hit you with a massive frontal assault, while sending units around one, or both flanks. It sort of appears that they are on a seek and destroy mission.
The AI will also, at least for me, demonstrate , with certain brigades, marching around, for several hours, back and forth, before attacking your position.
I think that it has something to do with the fact that the enemy brigades, would all move to the location of the enemy divisional commander, but once he is no longer on the field, they will fan out and attack you!
Here are some pictures of my latest battle; I’m fighting from the big-round-top to the cornfield that is north of the George-Weikert-farm.
