Advice for absolute beginner

Post by Blaugrana »

I'm completely new to PC gaming, having started with TC2M a few weeks ago and moved to SoWG just before Xmas. I've been playing division-level scenarios at 'untrained' level.

Are MP games very different as regards what I can see, how to issue commands etc?

What's the best way to dip my toe in the water?

Best wishes,

Jeff

The best way is to join in. If you want to join the MP campaign battles (which is pretty much all the MP that happens currently), read the new player guide here.

Welcome aboard!

Keep the training bit, but otherwise, yeah, not a model to emulate.

And don't worry, we've all just started over so everyone's stats are low across the board, should be a good time to try things out.
