I have a vague understanding that the results of one scenario can be carried over to another in the Gettysburg campaign. I still have questions.
Let's say Scenario A is designed to carry its results over to Scenario B.
1. Let's say I play Scenario A several times with different results. Which results carry over, the best score or the most recent play-through?
2. What happens if I use a mod to put the historical scenarios in the user scenarios folder and play them that way? Is there no carry-over? Will scenarios start with unhistorically high concentrations of troops?
Just wondering.
How do carry-over scenarios work, anyway?

1. The way it works is; scenarios are setup to trigger carryover when a certain score is achieved. With the historic scenarios, a Major Victory triggers the carryover (but this can be set to any score). If you play it again and get a Major Victory every time, it will overwrite the carryover every time you get the Major Victory.
2. There's actually a mod for that already in the mods thread. They are setup with carryover disabled (this is set in the scenario.ini for each scenario) so yes, they will start with un-historic troops.
Note: In the beta patch, carryover has been disabled for one of the scenarios (GB13) because it didn't make sense to fight against troops that you controlled in an earlier scenario. The troop numbers have been adjusted though to historic numbers.
