This is it!!!

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

How about Rutgers University. The little red schoolhouse. Alma Mater to one of our favorite people, Michael Shaara, (1951), author of "The Killer Angels." :)

I am looking into a 5th school also, because I am not sure if I will be able to get all of the necessary papers into MSU by the deadline. Not sure which one though.

Man I HATED school. Could not wait to finish and I'd never go back. Good luck, not my cup of tea.

I didn't think it was mine either. Once I was done with my bachelor's I was so relieved that "I would not have to go to school any longer." Now I think to myself, "what are you doing, this is crazy!?#*$" Yet, it makes sense.

But like I said, I am not in yet, so hopefully someone excepts me.

Same here, once i got my BSEE, i wanted to start earning some money with it. Being broke all through my school years was not fun. The money i earned with my Summer jobs went mostly to pay tuition.

Estabu, after graduating, i seriously thought for a while about going for a Masters but the money i was making at the time talked me out of it. I later regretted that decision. Looking back i should of bit the -being broke again- bullet and gone through with it.:(

As for HS, glad i went through it but would never want to do it again.
UNLESS! i knew back then what i know now! :)

Grad school is something you do because you need to do it. It's not fun living on peanuts with your potential career at the mercy of faculty members who may be marching to very different drummers. At the end of the day however you get out with a degree that can never be taken away. It also is a required ticket for entry into some career tracks.

If you really want that career, then grad school is your version of standing on the firing line with the Minies going zip! by your ear. I've been through it and come out the other side, so you can do it too.

Best of luck with your applications.
