We're about the same here in Reno. Haven't had one triple digit day yet......very strange.

The California Central Valley is the 'Breadbasket of the World' and all that stuff but only because of the irrigation system. Otherwise it's the greater Mojave desert.

I remember watching some show where they stuck these teams in Moroccan desert and made them race to different places. The announcer was going on and on about the potentially deadly 95 degree heat. Made me think I better be careful next time I went to Walmart.... B)

In southern California, where I happened to hang my hat, we only have two seasons. Summer and getting ready for summer. This, so far has been a very mild summer.

In central Jersey it's been all and all a beautiful summer. A few weeks of too hot, some heavy rain, but for the most part the days have been beautiful. It's a wonderful 84 right now, not too humid (well for east coasters anyway), we just had rain yesterday so everything is green and the sun is shining.
