Requirement for Promotion
The high score page states that you must be promoted in every scenario to make General, but it does state at what level. Is the required level Normal, or some other?

It does not matter for the promotion, but if you do it on below normal or custom, you get an * next to your name, as those scores can get ridiculously high.The high score page states that you must be promoted in every scenario to make General, but it does state at what level. Is the required level Normal, or some other?
So to get MAD PROPS, go normal or above. To just get the promotion, go custom or easy. But none of the other generals will invite you to their functions.

Thanks for the info. I have been playing on Normal after a few early games on untrained.
