Unreal Dreams

I had this dream about last Friday night/Saturday morning.
I woke up to go pee. I was in the half awake half asleep state and I was dreaming about gunshots. I saw the person on my bedroom chair sitting at the foot of my bed and whip out one of them autmatic pistols and empty the clip. I could not move at all and I was like, "Holy testicle, I'm being shot at!" After about three minutes the face went away and I woke all the way up and went to the bathroom. That morning, when I woke up FULLY, I walked around my room looking for bullet holes.

I hate dreams like that. They make me tired, like all that realisitic thinking has worn me out, even if I get my needed 6 hours of sleep.

AND THEY SCARE ME. All I got is two deadbolts on the front, two on the back, and one on my bedroom door. And the back door is surrounded by windows. If some heathen broke in, I'd be a massacred Negro. And I would not like that at all.

Do you live somewhere that it's possible the gunshots were heard for real?

Knowing me, I probably would. If I wasn't shot in the mouth, that is. I said worse when I was last chased by dog.

I live in an apartment in Oxford, MS, with the woods behind it. If those gunshots were real, I would have heard police sirens or something. Now, in my town where I came from....they were real, when they happened. I got to know pistol shots very well. That and burning houses.
