Cavalry Tutorial

Post by pccitgo »

I had a quick look at this tutorial which seems fairly straight forward. Attack the Union guns with my cavalry troops. I ordered them to mount up and set them on a course at the gallop that would intercept the guns. The Union guns were limbered very quickly and headed back to their main lines. For some reason my mounted troops could not outpace a pair of horses towing a cannon and a limber. What is the correct way to attack these guns and capture them without my troop either being outrun or dismounting to just shoot at them?

I believe we put in the feature which causes unsupported artillery to getaway after the cavalry tutorial was made. It'll be tough to catch those guns, but all I can say is double quick and keep chasing them.. You'll catch them eventually.
