Measuring Progress?

Post by pccitgo »

I have just had a go at the McPhersons Ridge scenario and thought I made a pretty good fist of it. Held the ridge until the reinforcements turned up. They then proceeded to sort out the CSA who made no progress towards the town. So I was surprised to learn that I had suffered a Defeat (590 points).
Is it possible to somehow see a running total of points? I have had a look at the manual and have seen a few areas where I may have let myself down but am still wondering how I earned the defeat when I held the objective until reinforced.

The points for each commander are shown by his picture. The total points are shown on the commander (you) for the scenario. If I recall correctly that's Heth for McPherson's Ridge. You should also have a red countdown timer when you select the commander which is actually holding the objective and a friendly flag (in this case the CSA) on the objective marker.

Keep in mind that McPherson's Ridge, GB02, has split objectives. I won't go any further lest I spoil it for you unless you need more help in winning it.
