Tilde key, and commands with screenshots!!!

Post by Michael Slaunwhite »

What sort of commands can I issue once I press the tilde key?

I typed in ?, and /?, commandlist, /cmds, and whatever else I wanted just to see what would happen, and it came back "Command not Found". Just wondering what type of commands can be issued...hmmm, perhaps viewing the game exec will give me a hint...

later!

Well, well....so there are commands.

There are commands which can be used. I am posting two commands which can be used in game (others can be used but I'm still snooping), and one is really cool...here are the commands, and the screenshots.
[First one press tilde key, and enter sunrise]
The attachment sunrise_command_ingame.jpg is no longer available
[press tilde key, and enter sunset to restore daylight hours]
The attachment sunset_command_ingame.jpg is no longer available
The other keys I know that work so far (I have been snooping about for only 3 or so minutes).

I know there are more, but I needed to tell you about the sunrise one, man thats cool.
I suspect if you look at the commands in the SDK you'd probably find many more that work.

Thanks.

There are two one called night. I found that one because if you set sunrise the day creeps up on you. Pretty cool to see, and one I won't post because it caused a crash after it executed.

SDK, so where too begin... I am a bit more interested if anything cool would come out of seeing what can be done with the debug switch active....What to do.

How would you play an mp3?

I know by entering playmp3 but how would it work via console?

Figured it out.

playmp3:whatever the mp3 is...

Man this is just too cool. There is a command I have been looking for, and that is "safeplace". I can set debug mode get my co-ordinates so I don't have to look for my men all the time...

wow, what a day...

Read, my son, and you will be enlightened.

"Play an mp3 file. MP3 sound file must be in the Music folder"

playmp3:SOWGB_end.mp3

Thanks, I already figured it out when I took your advice, and read the pdf. This seems to have you written all over it since you were asking much earlier for a built in MP3 player...

Nice addition. One thing, are there other commands if I put the game into debug mode?

Again thanks for the help.

Will we be able to "bind" keys via console?
