Existing Map Modification Question...

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

DaV,

I'll try the file you sent. The game reads the fences as open ground but they are still visible, so the movement rate is good, but visually it's a little weird. I'll report back. I thought we could remove them too.

DaV,

Sorry, not yet. Life stupidity seriously got in the way. (Hint - don't have kids.) Will have time tomorrow.

DaV,

Okay - put it in. Walls are gone. Fences are there but have no movement restrictions. Thank you. I am pretty sure the fences are hard-coded. Okay then, I can live with that. ;)

Just put your map objects setting to low and the fences/buildings will be gone.

G,

Great, Luminous, Balls of God!!!! The "Duh" factor is huge!!!! Thank you. I haven't had to reset anything on a lower setting in so long, I'd completely forgotten that... Will be having my head examined by a licensed professional as soon as I get back from far away places (again). Thank you.
