I created a small mod of Gunship's mod. I put buttons in for both regimental and brigade-size squares. I also re-arranged the units in the divisional line formations. This can be run as a separate mod or just replace the files in the Napoleon 1809 Mod folders.

Gunship,
If you wish to include any of these files in your next release, feel free to do so. I hope you don't mind that I added a few things to your superb mod.

MTG,

So, because I am lazy, do the Division changes puts the guns out front and Cavalry to the rear, (assuming the Division has some), or are the guns in line with the brigades. Great idea on the brigade and division Squares buttons.
Note - had to form square last night when I finally goaded the Austrian Horse to charge my infantry. Worked perfectly....for them. The Horse charged the square, were repulsed, then their Infantry charged home right after, sweeping the 2 squares away. Great combined arms action!

MTG,

Crashes the game as a Mod. Will try direct installation and see what happens. Will advise.

Jack,
You probably need to load Gunship's mod first, then mine.

Yes, the division layouts have the arty in front and the cav in the rear. I was also thinking of making a couple of echelon formations for the divisions. Also a brigade attack column with skirmishers would be nice to have. They could also be used in the echelon formations.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

Thanks MTG, I have started on updating with the feedback you gave. On echelon formations, I attempted this but couldnt get it working due the way the code lines the numbers up, there always has to be a number to the side or front, i.e. you cant line things up diagonally. If you figure it out let me know.

MTG,

Have that set-up already. Gunship's always takes priority. Still haven't had time to load yours in manually. Probably tonight. Roger that on the formations.

MTG,

Okay, check this out. Decided to stop screwing around. Loaded files manually. French Divisions with no Cav work fine. Austrian Divisions WITH Cav don't work - ctd.
Also, No Button for squares appears anywhere. Did like having the batteries out front.

Thoughts?

Jack,

I'll try it and let you know if I have the same issue.
