Is This New from the new Patch?

All,

Just noticed this. While advancing on a road as a Federal Division Commander towards Cramptons Gap, I decided to change the deployment area for my 1st. Brigade. Clicking on a new spot, I naturally assumed, as in the past, the Brigade would swing off the road and go cross-country towards the new position. Went of to do something else with the rest of the Division and came to find 1st. Brigade moving to the new position while still using the road. No, I did not click on "use roads" and the Brigade Commander was TC'd. Tried it with the other two Brigades and they did the same thing. Sweet!
But, is this new from the 1.4 patch or have I just not noticed it before? Generally, if I swing off the road, it is to engage the enemy right away.

Thoughts?

As far as I know nothing was changed in the code for this. However, it could be one of those things that some other change caused it. If so, good to hear.

Yes, actually it's pretty cool. It works about 85% of the time. Good enough for me.
