Antietam

Post by william1993 »

I am thinking of buying this add-on. But before I spend $19, I would like to know, is it worth it. Is it good? Is it too buggy at the moment to buy (by too buggy I mean super buggy, not just the normal amount of few glitches). How does it go?
God darn. Holy testicles. All them people.

It goes good.
I can make this march and I will make Georgia howl.

It's worth the money for the first minutes of the first scenario ...

The rest is pretty stunning too.

I haven't run into any bugs with it yet. It's very well done and great scenarios. Well worth it in my opinion. I have played the Antietam scenarios more than the regular Gettysburg ones. If your really unsure I'm sure you could find some game play videos somewhere to get a feel for it but its really just the exact same awesome game without any bugs that I have found thus far.

Gawd - it's good. The only reason why I'm adding my 2 cents is to remind you that it's not just Antietam that's added - apparently Version 1.4 fixed a bunch of stuff too. So if it's bugs you're worried about (and keeping you from parting with $19) - don't.

NOTE: Hard to find where to say thanks - but to who/whomever the masterful game geeks are that have built these endless, full battle length scenarios for both GB and Antietam in Union and Reb, THANK YOU SO MUCH - I haven't time to read or post - because I'm thoroughly enjoying blissful hours of escapist civil war game glee - first with Gettysburg, now with Antietam.
