I know this is going to sound nuts...(no man berry punching allowed please).

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

True... :)

The same exists for serial activation of product. Over two years ago I expressed my opinion on this particular matter, and since companies have jumped on the band wagon to implement this DRM strategy doesn't mean I have to like it.

I have bought SOW, and I have never looked back, but the DRM protocol is something which has held me back from purchasing the other two addons. I'm waiting for the deactivation of the DRM for the main game first then I will buy one more addon, and so it goes. The serial activation feels like a dark cloud is hanging over me while I have to do it, and I hope one day it will change because the way it is now I don't own SOW, I am only renting it.

My full point being is that sure I don't like the way things are going where Real time has hurt some very good titles out there such as (finding out) the combat series has gone the way of the dodo, to bad too because that is where the game shined was in it turn based tactics.

Oh well, you are totally correct.... Reality check time.

Okay I feel like a total turd now. In my previous post I mentioned that the only reason for my not buying the addons was because I didn't want to have to activate the addons online, which Born2See in his kind way let me know that the serial activation for the addons is NOT for online activation, only for installing a valid copy of the software...

I apologize to NSD, and to those folks who may have read what I posted earlier, It appears once more I spoke out of sheer ignorance, and my abundance of paranoia...

Again Sorry guys... I guess it's time I get on board, and buy those addons.

Your humble stable boy!
