I have a Gateway FX but I dont think they make them anymore

Its a good rig if you can find one.

I found this conversation a bit strange - as it seems to me than any standard laptop would run this game just fine, no?

(I use my 'el cheapo' laptop, HP Pavillion G7, with the only add-on being 8 gig of ram, and cost less than $400. It plays SOWGB just fine on what I think are the highest settings for gameplay, video and audio clarity.

Am I missing something? Wouldn't any new laptop (with the exception of extra ram) play this game just fine?
