Squeezing the teet for something extra.
Well after working the numbers a bit, and robbing Peter to pay Paul, I figured out a comfortable way to have highspeed without making me have to squeeze the old shriveled teet to make this extra payment.
First off since my cable company has these bundled packages (you know the deal, pay $99.00 dollars for 3 months etc, etc), then you get hammered afterwards once your sucked into their web.
I decided to upgrade to my cable company's Internet basic, but that of course would cost me a 50 dollar installation fee, so I have opted to install the best they have which waives their installation fee, and once two months are over with, I will then downgrade my speed to internet basic which in the end I will only have to pay $29.99 per month which is what wanted in the first place, meaning I will have the best speed for two months (20 times faster than standard cable connect, which is $60.00 dollars per month regular, and since it's bundled, I can get it for less than $20.00 dollars), and enjoy life once more, then no longer have to use dialup which was just hurting me more than most of you will ever know.
Anyway, you may see me more for MP games... who knows I might let you beat up on me on the battlefield.

Thanks con20or. Do you play MP by any chance?

Sometimes - but my router wont let me host. You looking to take her for a whirl?

Thinking strongly about it. Since I couldn't do much in the way of playing MP with the dialup, I'll be able to host now, and play on a regular basis. I wouldn't mind playing a game with you con20or, and a few others out there. I should have my HS this coming Tuesday, so anytime after that I would up for it.
Hope to see ya online...
