My Grandfather
Yesterday, my grand father passed away. Joseph Clyburn, born 4-4-1932 was a veteran of the Korean War, awarded The Bronze star and Purple Heart. He was not only a hero on the battlefield, but also did a lot of charity work and was a Shriner for many years, driving sick children to the hospital.
I'm just posting this to pay tribute to a War Hero and a great man. It was a life well lived. Rest in peace Grandpa Joe.

Re: My Grandfather
Sorry for your loss LP !
These war veteran's are a special breed of people ! They did so much for us, provided us with so much freedom, that we are able to play games SOW, etc !
My dad, 86, a WWII vet, fought in the Pacific, still attends the vet meetings and will also go see the vets from time to time that are disabled from all wars.
Special indeed LP... You should be very proud of your grandfather as we should all be very proud of the Vets that we know and the Vets we do not know....
