Online Chat? (Poll)

I know this was asked quite a long while ago, so I thought I would ask one more time...

Can we have a live chat for this forum Please? I know you use to have one for the TC2M forum which probably worked out well.

Just thinking that it would give us a place to hangout discussing the game, mods, and who knows what else we can talk about.

When did they have one for TC2M?

If I'm not mistaken, I think they had a live chat option for the TC2M Forums (not sure if it's there now, I haven't visited that site in close to a year now).

It worked out fine for those folks who wished to chat away about the game, modding, support, etc, and kept people active on the forums even if they only chatted away in the chat rooms.

Hey Jim. I think the point I'm making is not sitting in the game lobby in full screen or even in window mode because of the resources it takes to have the game active. I like chatting away while doing other things. This way people can still can go about browsing other websites, searching for the next great thing to share with the rest or setting up some small skirmishes instead of sitting in the game lobby waiting for someone to chat too.

You know, I don't like being tied down. Also it would give those who are online chatting here if the come across any problems, or wish to talk about the mods they are working on etc... If I start working on some small edit, and I am online chatting here, I'll be able to tweak the edit as I go, even share the small edit with the rest of you, and have realtime feedback...

It's sad that we seemed to pretty much walk away from live chat channels when they are very useful to have, and use.
