Antietam Scenario Screen?

Post by MajorByrd »

Hey guys

I just wanted to ask whether or not the Antietam expansion will, by a future patch or else, get the design the original Gettysburg scenario has. By that I mean a map, an overview of the battlefield, with the different Scenarios and Score showing kind of chronologically so that you get that kind of campaign feeling when you actually decide to play Singleplayer. I loved it that you had to finish Day 1 before you could play Day 2 and so on. I'm pretty much hooked on Multiplayer anyways but I still do take time to play Singleplayer once in a while, so this kind of interested me.

It's not really a high priority, probably not even interesting to anybody but myself :D Still, when I played TC2M back in the days, I always enjoyed the "Campaign" athmosphere, taking command of parts of the army while slowly progressing through the battle and being able to see my progress on that "campaign" screen.

I just realized that I should have opened the Topic in the Expansions subforum. If a mod would be so kind as to switch it to its proper place? Thanks in advance.

The scenarios will show in the Additional Battles screen in chronological order, with the battle intro, historical background etc., on the left side. They are not carryover scenarios where you have to complete one scenario to advance to the next because we wanted all scenarios open to everyone. The entire battle is covered in great detail. It even includes the full battle of Antietam from the Confederate side in one 11 hour long scenario.
