USCT Mod and patch 1.5

On my installation, this mod crashes to desktop without any indication of the error in the log.

Has 1.5 removed the option to include mods using unpacked unit sprites? Or have certain csvs changed that need updating? Appreciate a pointer so I can fix for 1.5.

1.4 did that. There is a work around including the old Textures file and GFX, but it's clunky when a lot of unpacked sprites are used. Best to pack.

However, it worked under 1.4 because I incl the old csvs for the reason you describe. So I can't understand why it isn't now.

Packing .... I appreciate your point but unless you have a tool that will divide these numerous sheets into individual frames that isn't something I'll spend my limited modding time doing manually.

I'll check it again.

Hmmm...maybe what Mike said, you need the 1.5 gscreens file. Is this the case?

Man, I'm getting dumb in my old age.

Problem fixed.

OOB is only at divisional level. Choose anything above that and it crashes. :pinch:

Crikey - You mentioned that the problem is fixed, and then added that it still crashes.

My GreyMod - you know the one with the sprites from the previous game, none of those files are packed and it works with the 1.5 Patch .

I'm one of those that really don't see any added benefit or fps increase with the new packed sprites.

So, if I can get around packing units and the game still works, I'm not going to pack them!

Olustee is a divisional level engagement. The oob in the USCT mod is designed that way.

When using the oob you must Not choose corps or army level engagement or a crash occurs. I had corps level selected from an earlier game. Had nothing to do with the sprites in the end.
